LUCKY DIARY#5:Nourishing My Soul: A Vegetarian Journey

 

I start eating vegetarian after I worked at ARTC. During these three monthes, I found the changes of my boby and the taste. On the aspect of health, I certainly confirm its benefits, either the physical side or the  psychological side. Like maintaining peaceful mood and keeping slight stomach, and the desire to eat fried food and meat is significent go down, too. However, what breaks my expect is that I became wighter than before, gaining about 2kg, not following the most common situation people predict. 

People may hesitate and stop when they turn meat-mealing into vegetarian. Here's some tips that make me keep vegetarian style.

1. A RPG game for finding nice vegetarian restaurants
People always get tired when things are all the same, but get excited when there's a game. So I set " finding nice restaurants" as a goal and get the achivement when I pin the spot on the map, make my own food map.

2. Try some different
When talking about vegetarian, what's coming up to your mind? Lots of green vegetable like lettuce and salad maybe, right? "No, I'm not a goat I reject to eat grass" you murmur. In fact, there's more chooses than you think when eating vegetarian, like noodles, hamburger, pizza, and etc. If you give it a try, maybe you'll find that it's not as boring as you thought. 

3. Religion as a support
I'm not a formal buddhist, yet I follow the commandments like no drinks, and no meats, in reality, less meats. It's a positive cycle: when I eat less meat, my mind is more clear, and I feel my angels stay with me, protecting and keeping watch on me. Those warm and lucky moments let me make up my mind to keep a simple life.

These days, I encourage my colleague to try vegetarian, hoping that more and more people can live in an eco-friendly, and body-friendly lifestyle.

Encouraging my colleagues to explore vegetarianism, I aspire to promote an eco-friendly and body-friendly lifestyle for more individuals. By sharing my experiences, I hope to inspire others to embark on their own journey toward a more mindful and nourishing way of life.
